My booking message said I might get another email about payment. What is this?

Some countries now require additional steps in the payment process to verify your identity. If you’re a resident of one of these countries, we may need to ask for more information before we can process your payment.

After booking, I got an email from directing me to an external site for payment. Is this legitimate?

Yes; this is our email address for payment requests. You’ll be directed to a page hosted by our payment provider 3C to verify your identity and complete the transaction. If you get an email from any other address asking for payments, do not click links. Contact Us if you have questions or concerns.

When should I expect the payment email?

The message is sent by the hotel you booked; timing depends on if / when they receive the request for additional verification from your card provider.

What happens to my reservation if I don’t complete the payment before I arrive at the hotel?

For reservations that require advance payment, the hotel may cancel the reservation if they are unable to collect payment.

I received a payment request several days after I checked out. Why?

When you check out, additional charges such as room service or minibar consumption are settled in addition to your reservation payment. Your bank may request additional verification. jii
