Engage in sustainable travel and explore the resort activities that we handpicked to delight the senses.
Full Moon (Purnama) Celebration
Reconnect with natural spirits and the inner self through an authentic Purnama full moon celebration every 28 days. The journey begin with traditional Canangsari- and Tridatu-making activities, followed by an authentic Balinese ritual at the resort’s temple. After a three-course menu at Eight Degrees South, a calming ritual and meditation session on the beach greets the full moon, and body and soul are cleansed with a Melukat spiritual purification.
Scenographic Cooking Class
Select a dish from the resort’s menu and learn how to make it from our culinary team. Discover the lost art of salt panning by visiting Kusamba sea salt farm and witness the traditional sea salt making process using basic traditional tools, or embark on a guided trip to a local organic farm for a deeper appreciation of authentic Balinese cooking.
Olfactory Experience
Become a “nose” or scent designer for the day and design a personalized high-quality fragrance with qualified French perfumers. The 90-minute Olfactory Experience uses local, sustainable unique scents of spices and flowers from all over Bali to create your own one-of-a-kind scent to take home.
The Art of Sound Healing
Sound healing uses vibrations and frequencies to promote emotional and physical wellbeing. During this one-of-a-kind session, an Indonesian sound healer uses an eclectic collection of instruments including shells and a didgeridoo to activate the body’s natural healing system and balance the seven chakras. The sound healing begins as dusk falls, submersing the all-glass Infinity Chapel in a calming blue hue.
Forest Bathing and Foraging
Japanese shinrin yoku, or forest bathing, revitalizes the mind and body through the beauty of nature’s sights, sounds, and aromas. This all-day adventure begins in a vintage off-road vehicle at dawn through different parts of Bali, from bustling Denpasar town to the shore of Lake Beratan. Local rangers will guide you in a traditional Jukung kayak to the rim of the Bedugul rainforest, where you’ll spend a magical moment under a canopy of tall Rasamala trees amid the rhythm of gentle nature and chirping birds. A serene lunch next to a waterfall completes your adventure before you return to the resort.
