A warm and cozy experience awaits at Hilton Chicago in a suite complete with a custom crochet Christmas tree and knit accent wall perfect for snapping a snuggly selfie. The comforting holiday abode also features knit-wrapped presents, a hot cocoa bar, gingerbread decorating and yet another one-of-a-kind Christmas tree for guests to enjoy a personal tree lighting ceremony.
Call dibs on sleigh parking
Plan your escape to downtown Chicago and call dibs on overnight accommodations, including self-parking and bottomless coffee or cocoa during your stay. Seasonal fun is all around the city with shopping, theatre, many museums, exhibits, and plenty of indoor fun, including swimming at the heated lap pool.
The package includes overnight accommodations, self-parking for one vehicle in the local parking garage with an entrance on Balbo Street, and bottomless hot coffee & cocoa or iced coffee and tea.
Home Alone 2 Stay Package - The Kevin
In the 1992 classic Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, the memorable and heartwarming scene where Kevin and his family are reunited on Christmas morning was shot in the Hilton Chicago’s Conrad Suite. In 2019, we launched a limited-time Home Alone 2 package allowing guests to live the lavish Kevin McCallister life with an exclusive themed experience in the original Conrad Suite featured in the movie.
The package includes a whole cheese pizza from Herb ‘n Kitchen, made especially by our Executive Chef, who is Pizza-aioli certified. A pool reservation for Cannon Ball Practice, accommodation in a suite, Paint Can for Sticky Bandit candy fill-ups at HNK, and an ADA-approved toothbrush.
Insider news on Santa's lost button
It’s rumored that when Santa visited last year, he lost a button on his red suit. Sources tell us that Santa needs this button returned before the big day and that he’s asking all children visiting Hilton Chicago to be on the lookout for the button.
Anyone that finds it and turns it in to the Front Desk Lost & Found team will be instantly placed on Santa’s Nice List and will be rewarded with a sweet treat.
Tree lighting ceremony & gingerbread display
Bringing back the longstanding tradition, Hilton Chicago will unveil its gingerbread display during the annual lighting ceremony for our majestic Christmas tree. Lovingly crafted by Executive Chef Mario Garcia and Pastry Chef Wing Au, the holiday display pays homage to the city of Chicago and incorporates a gingerbread replica of Hilton Chicago, Soldiers Field, and more.
Deck The Donut, a Holiday-inspired experience
Add a dash of holiday magic to your morning with a stop-off to Herb ‘N Kitchen for a sweet treat. Our Chefs will be on site with fresh donuts made to order and ready to decorate with holiday-inspired edible decorations and garnishes.
Magnificent Mile Lights Festival
The city of Chicago officially kicks off the holly jolly season on November 19, 2022. The festival illuminates the start of the holiday season and will officially light up over a million sparkling lights along The Mag Mile. This stunning parade features fabulous floats, giant helium balloons, lively marching bands, celebrities, musical performers, and Santa Claus.
This year Hiltons of Chicago, representing The Drake Hotel, Hilton Chicago, and Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel, will participate in the parade with a forty-foot locomotive float that will steam along the Mag Mile.

Santa will be at the hotel on November 18th, the night before he makes his appearance at Wintrust Magnificent Mile Lights Festival. Plan ahead and secure your stay for the night of November 18th and receive a family portrait with Saint Nicholas.
The Santa Photo package is available for stays on November 18th and includes accommodations for up to two adults and two children.
