Created in partnership with winemaker Laura Chiapella and Altotinto winery, each bottle reflects a journey of transformation. From the sacred Ceiba tree to the playful Aluxes, every label celebrates a symbol of Mayan culture—elevated through limited-edition blends from the valleys of Baja California.
JAPA CHI I & II
Inspired by the Ceiba, the Mayan tree of life that connects heaven, earth, and the underworld. These bold reds are rooted in tradition and aged with patience.
- Japa Chi I (2020): Cabernet Sauvignon & Cabernet Franc, aged 14 months in French oak.
- Japa Chi II (2020): Nebbiolo, Malbec & Cabernet Franc, layered and expressive.
Limited to 75 cases each.
JAPA CHI III & IV
A playful tribute to the Aluxes, mystical protectors of nature. These vibrant blends capture the spirit of the wild.
- Japa Chi III (2020): Cabernet Sauvignon & Nebbiolo, aged in American oak.
- Japa Chi IV (2021): Syrah & Merlot, rich, smooth, and aromatic.
Limited to 420 and 840 cases, respectively.
JAPA CHI V & SAAK
Crafted with master winemaker Jesús Rivera, these wines represent the soul of the collection—refined, rare, and enduring.
- Japa Chi V (2020/2019): Malbec & Merlot, aged 20 months in new French oak.
- Japa Chi Saak (2017–2022): Sauvignon Blanc & Moscato, fresh and floral, aged in French foudres.
