First opened in 1941, the Drum Room lounge and club has drawn the likes of Frank Sinatra, Patsy Cline, and Benny Goodman. Both Providence and the Walnut Room offer restored 1940s style alongside classic American cuisine.
In 1926, The President was the first hotel to be able to produce its own ice in Kansas City, and moving forward with this “in house” concept, we will be using essential, fresh, regional and homemade ingredients in almost every craft cocktail we produce. These simple precepts will take a bit of work, planning and skill, but will be instrumental in setting us apart in the Kansas City bar scene; in the Power and Light district, and as a destination hangout – not just the convenience of a hotel bar and restaurant.
Providence will be closed until fall of 2022
Start your day at Starbucks coffee conveniently located inside the hotel, off the main lobby level.
