Open early for your locally roasted and freshly brewed coffee and espresso drinks with grab-and-go pastries and sandwiches through the afternoon, Colibri also sells bagged coffee, hats, beach bags, logo items, and sundries.
Zarandeado Beach Barbecue
Conrad Punta de Mita throws a private beach party just for you to experience the cultural food traditions of the Nayarit region. Get your camera ready, as the fishermen arrive with the surf by noon and their catch of the day directly from the local fishing village of La Cruz Huanacaxtle. Our Executive Chef welcomes the fishermen and their bounty, while explaining plans for the grill that will be enjoyed by all. Then it’s showtime, and the chef’s expertise is on display for all to see and taste, and this is the name of the game – zarandeado means ‘to move,’ in this case cook the fish by turning it over on the grill. You will experience the freshest seafood and ingredients as you savor a cold drink and ceviche from the catch, and interact with the chef as lunch is prepared from sea to table.
