The restaurant is anchored by a long exhibition kitchen and is supplemented with a wine alcove and a barista bar. The Brasserie overlooks an interior courtyard garden, providing a sense of retreat in urban Shanghai. The Grand Brasserie serves a broad range of traditional European dishes and Chinese favorites, with cold and hot open kitchens, to cater to an extensive palette.

Established on Chinese cuisine with complicated topographic features, affluent natural resources, and culinary skills, Chef Jason brings a whole new look and flavor profile to modern Chinese cuisine. LING LONG Shanghai has a completely different menu than the one offered at LING LONG Beijing, with both menus sharing ten percent in similarity. The venue has seating for 42, with eight tables and two private rooms. French plating, but unmistakably bursting with Chinese flavors, the core focus of LING LONG is Umami flavors, local ingredients, and tradition. Every dish is a work of art, influenced by cultural aspects. Chef Jason will be exploring ingredients from all over the world to create an exquisite journey for every diners' palate.

The Shanghai Club (former club that occupied the current Waldorf Astoria Club premises) was famed for its Long Bar, an impressive 34m bar counter and longest in the Far East back in the early days of the 1910s. Today, the original Long Bar design is resurrected in this space, with every element of the bar and wall paneling carefully studied and reproduced from photographic records. The overall style is dark timber paneling with light stone tops and rich, dark masculine furniture. Long Bar offers a wide range of spirits, including a good selection of cocktails as well as Waldorf Astoria classics done in the original way. Bringing back one of the luxuries of the olden days is the Oyster Bar, which also features creative titbits.

It is an upscale lounge that orchestrates the perfect symphony of Waldorf Astoria’s classic surroundings and fresh contemporary ambiance for quick meals, afternoon teas, and a sweet break before the next round of shopping or an informal business meeting. A sense of procession and parade is the fundamental basis of Peacock Alley, where one can see and be seen. Small clusters of seating break up the long promenade to provide intimate venues of gathering.

Formerly the news room where the gentlemen at the Shanghai Club read their papers, Salon de Ville is now one of the more feminine areas of the Waldorf Astoria Club heritage building, with clusters of traditional sofa seating and china cabinets. Salon de Ville is the ideal spot for guests to enjoy a drink of coffee or a glass of Champagne that pairs perfectly with the Waldorf Astoria Afternoon Tea with friends. It also serves an assortment of premium cheeses and exquisite desserts for a light snack while guests relax comfortably with magnificent views of the famous Shanghai Bund.

Wai King Kok is a contemporary Chinese restaurant at Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund. The restaurant’s classic dining room and refined Chinese cuisine serves sumptuous Chinese delicacies to the most discerning of tastes. Located on the fifth floor of the Waldorf Astoria Club, a century-old iconic structure. The restaurant is equipped with six stately private rooms. Unlike most Chinese restaurants, Wai King Kok has held onto tradition and injected new creativity into Chinese cuisine at the same time. Diners can experience the charm of both old and new Shanghai as if they were travelling through time.
