Pizza Cafe is casual and comfortable by day, with a certain festive "bistro ambiance" by night. Warm and family friendly, in the pedestrian friendly destination neighborhood of an eclectic mix of shops known as Olmsted Village. Since the beginning, Pizza Cafe has been known for serving excellent pan, thin-crust and original hand tossed pizzas. We make our pizza dough daily, it’s never frozen and doesn’t contain any sugars or dairy products. Pizza Cafe also serves a wide variety of tasty sandwiches such as meatball, chicken parmesan, ham and cheese, turkey and cheese and Pizza Cafe’s classic club and eggplant parmesan subs along with the freshest salads, and good cold beverages. Pizza Cafe uses only the freshest vegetables, meats, and cheeses, receiving grocery deliveries several times weekly. Don’t forget that Pizza Cafe serves a variety of scrumptious Italian pasta entrees as well.  Eggplant parmesan, baked ziti, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmesan and cheesy manicotti. We operate a full-service restaurant, you don’t have to come to the bar to place your food order or get drink refills. Pizza Cafe offers dine-in or a full menu of carry-out. Catering services are also available. Our location is neighborhood based and we are actively involved in our respective community, always doing what we can to help schools, churches, and other charitable organizations. Pizza Cafe does not take reservations. Instead, we seat as quickly and cordially as possible. Pizza Cafe’s goal is to maintain the highest standards with our food. NEW Sushi and Hibachi menu. Master fish cutters called itamae preside over the sushi bar, slicing impeccably fresh yellowtail, tuna, and other briny delights. Sushi (the word actually refers to the rice preparation, sticky and slightly sweet from mild rice vinegar, used in a variety of combinations, many with no fish at all; raw fish by itself is called sashimi) is an important element of Japanese cuisine, but not the only one.  Sizzle is the secret ingredient in Thai Basil's wonderful Hibachi menu which offers a large selection of delectable grilled delights.
Thai Basil's is one the newest restaurant in Olmsted Village, but it’s been packed since it opened. The list of appetizers, lunch entrees, and dinners offers plenty of options, like the Bangkok Dumplings, delicious fresh dumplings filled with minced pork, shrimp, Thai herbs and a chef special sauce. The perfect chewiness of the dough and the tenderness of the filling make these pot stickers extremely satisfying, but they are light enough to share and enjoy without ruining anyone’s appetite. For dinner try the Kai Nai Lung, which is perfectly cooked tender sautéed chicken in a homemade roasted chili paste with onions, mushrooms, bell pepper, cashew nuts, and green onions and served in an egg noodle basket! Craving some crunch? A dimension of crunch comes from tempura and katsu. Tempura everybody knows - shrimp, squid, and vegetables are coated with a simple flour batter kept icy cold, then flash-fried in hot oil.       
Thai Basil's has it all! Absolutely delicious dishes beautiful exotic atmosphere, and friendly family staff who certainly doesn't mind answering any and all questions about the food. Take out available.
