The leading contender for breakfast is our hearty Midwestern Breakfast Buffet and our Signature Lindsays Grille.  A top candidate on the menu for lunch is the Hamburger Horseshoe, a unique Springfield creation.  Corn, a local bipartisan favorite ingredient, is incorporated into many of our selections such as our Illinois Corn Chowder.  We offer a casual atmosphere while providing our guests with a Presidential experience.

Lindsay's Restaurant

When in , the movers and shakers have gathered at a place called The Globe Tavern for over 200 years.  Although the physical location has changed over the years, history repeats itself as The Globe Tavern is still known as a place of business and networking for politicians and a place of comfort and relaxation for tourists.  It all began in the 1830's when Lincoln brought Mary Todd to the The Globe Tavern for their first date.  As the years progressed, the food and beverage selection evolved.  We now feature hand crafted specialty drinks and a rotating selection of premium draft beer.  Seven flat screen televisions feature sports and news channels alike keeping tavern guests up to date and entertained.  Sit back and stay a while for dinner, or a late evening appetizer.
