The Peacock Alley concept originated from the original Waldorf Astoria New York in 1897. Back then, it was a splendid corridor between the Waldorf Hotel and the Astoria Hotel and quickly became a gathering place for the social elite and celebrities of New York.
Peacock Alley at the Waldorf Astoria Chengdu provides an enchanting ambiance for enjoying light bites during the Waldorf afternoon tea, including the signature Red Velvet Cake, or simply mingling with business associates over a glass of champagne in the cocktail lounge.
