The restoration process

In approaching this landmark transformation, the development, architecture, and design teams became custodians of the building’s heritage. These dedicated experts spent countless hours studying, cataloging, and restoring the hotel’s historic spaces, such as Peacock Alley and the Grand Ballroom.

Our preservationists meticulously restored the hotel’s artifacts, including the Spirit of Achievement statue, the 1893 World’s Fair Clock, and Cole Porter’s piano, ensuring they will be ready for the grand re-debut when the hotel reopens in spring 2025.
