The name Salt River Tavern comes from the history of Phoenix before it was The Valley of The Sun. Prior to the 1930’s, Phoenix was known as Salt River Valley and produced everything from a robust mining culture to beautiful sunsets. Pieces of this history are represented in our decor elements, such as our water wall representing the river, and the color palate highlighting the amazing colors of the sun at dusk.
