Inspired by a fictional character, Christian James brings the flavors of his global travels to the Joinery Hotel. Throughout his travels, Christian James is inspired by food and some of his favorite dishes. With each and every homecoming, those favorites will inspire a rotating menu for Pittsburghers and guests alike. These dishes will celebrate all cultures and the unique differences in taste many experience throughout their trips abroad. Guests will see techniques of the elements through a hardwood-fired grill, sous-vide, and slow cooking. The wine and cocktail program both also contribute to a highly curated experience, drawing from boutique-international producers and flavors.
