1885 Cafe & Market
1885 Cafe; honors the culture that began over 100 years ago with fresh local ingredients and original tea room recipes. Opening its doors in 1885 during a time of city renewal after the Civil War the famed Miller and Rhoads department store became a community hub in Richmond. Thirty-four years later the Tea Room was introduced offering signature dishes served alongside regular fashion shows. Today the Hilton Richmond Downtown is reviving that once lost culture with quintessential Tea Room recipes.
