Day One | 9 am – 11 am

Walk along the river just behind the hotel to discover scenic views along the Mississipi. End at the original Café du Monde to savor their famous beignets dusted with powdered sugar, a cup of our local chicory coffee, or popular café au lait. Just across the street you will find the historic heart of the city, Jackson Square and Saint Louis Cathedral, circa 1794.

Day One | 8 am – 12 pm

Take a nostalgic, five-mile streetcar ride just a half mile down from the hotel through the iconic St. Charles St. and stop off at beloved Camellia Grill for a hearty breakfast.

From there, head about 1.5 miles back towards the hotel and spend the day exploring historic Audubon Park. Walk among ancient live oaks and discover diverse exhibits at the Audubon Zoo. Check out the Audubon Clubhouse for a savory lunch to please all ages.
