Salt River Tavern is a gathering place for all that visit Phoenix and the people that live there, where our hotel guests can sit next to locals and strike up a conversation. The name Salt River Tavern comes from the history of Phoenix before it was The Valley of The Sun. Prior to the 1930’s it was called Salt River Valley which produced everything from a robust mining culture to beautiful sunsets. Pieces of this history is represented in decor elements, such as our water wall representing the river and the color palate focusing in on the amazing colors of the sun at dusk.
