Artisan of Flavor
Chef Michael Pleines has over 25 years of experience working in professional kitchens, half of which has been spent in fine dining. Chef Pleines has a Hospitality Business Management degree from the University of New Hampshire as well as graduating from Johnson & Wales Suma Cum Laude in eight months. Chef Pleines was certified by the ACF as a Certified Executive Chef in 2015.
Chef Pleines has several award-winning restaurants in his career, the most notably being Best in State- Traditional American Fine Dining in downtown Salt Lake City. Whether cooking for former presidents, celebrities or hotel guests, Chef Pleines has a passion for well executed, consistent dishes. Chef Pleines is a butcher with a passion for fine dining, and his approach is classically French Trained with a modern twist.
