Run down conditions

I stayed here for 3 nights. Staff are friendly and efficient. Rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel is being refurbished, so only 2 lifts for 12 floors. Decor a little dated.

Undergoing renovation - poor maintenance

Negatives:  Room and furniture was old and just did not look clean.  However the age was probably what made it look unclean rather than staff not doing a good job.  Not great for a five star hotel...
