Discover Fort Sumter Just Outside Hotels with Electric Car Charging Stations
For a unique experience, head down to the water to tour Fort Sumter, a never-completed sea fort built in the 1800s on an artificial island protecting Charleston, South Carolina from naval invasion. Despite efforts to rebuild parts of the fort, to this day, it’s never been fully completed. Now, this famous site is operated by the National Park Service and is open to the public for touring as part of the Fort Sumter and Fort Moultrie National Historical Park.
