Celebrate mom with a Mother's Day brunch in Las Vegas

Mom deserves the best — especially on Mother's Day — and Las Vegas' restaurants are here to deliver. | By Jeremy Long | April 20, 2022 (Updated April 27, 2023)

Spa and brunch: The ultimate pairing

Start Mother’s Day right with the gift of relaxation. Purchase a gift certificate for the spa at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Curio Collection by Hilton before May 12 and mom will receive a complimentary enhancement to upgrade any traditional massage with hot stones, aromatherapy or a warm scalp treatment.

Continue to sweeten her day with a special strawberry- and chocolate crepe-filled brunch at The Kitchen at Commons Club.

Cap off a day of celebration with a head-to-toe refresh at Glow spa at Tropicana Las Vegas a DoubleTree by Hilton. The Fire & Ice manicure and pedicure treatment includes an indulgent warming paraffin treatment to revitalize tired hands and feet.

The Front Yard

Located right off the Las Vegas Strip, The Front Yard is the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Best of Las Vegas! 2021 Gold Medal winner for Best Brunch. That means locals like it. A lot.

A two-story venue that offers both indoor and outdoor dining, The Front Yard features views of the Strip in an upscale brewpub atmosphere with retractable ceiling shades, expansive windows and lush garden walls that provide the perfect background for a family photo or Instagram post honoring mom.

This Mother’s Day, The Front Yard is hosting a spring-inspired brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. that includes bottomless mimosas and a complimentary one-of-a-kind bouquet from their annual Mother’s Day Bloom Bar (while supplies last).

And while you’re there, consider sampling the French toast waffle to experience heaven on Earth: Hawaiian sweet bread rolled in French toast batter, pressed in a waffle iron and sprinkled with spiced powdered sugar. Add a little maple syrup and butter, and you have an ambrosia of the gods that’s truly worthy of mom. Recommendation: Pair it with a Spicy Mary (jalapeno-infused vodka, lime, A1 and bloody mary mix) for a sweet-and-spicy Mother’s Day feast.

The Goodwich

The Goodwich was restaurant was named one of the "Top 100 Places to Eat in 2022 in the U.S." by Yelp, which means its notoriety has quickly spread beyond Southern Nevada, and for good reason.

Located in downtown Las Vegas at the base of the SoHo Lofts, this restaurant helps your group keep it classic with Mother's Day brunch selections like The Daily (two eggs, hickory bacon or sausage, tater tots, grilled baguette). Or you can channel mom's signature sparkle by ordering up a platter of rainbow cakes with maple-glazed pepper bacon and whipped cream. Keep the party going with a bottle of the bubbly for the whole table or order the mimosa flight to top off your Mother's Day outing.

CRAFTkitchen

If mom is looking for something that takes her off the tourist-heavy Las Vegas Strip, consider CRAFTkitchen in nearby Henderson. Located just a few minutes from Homewood Suites by Hilton Henderson South Las Vegas, the restaurant is a local, chef-owned cafe that prides itself on creative menu offerings. The brunch specials change monthly — though you can always count on bottomless mimosas — and locals can’t get enough of the succulent selections.

Recent offerings have included potato cake and smoked salmon Benedict, orange honey-almond cream kouign amann, crispy avocado tacos and scrumptious peaches-and-cream waffles (gluten-free!). Note: There’s a hearty vegan menu, too.

Wally's Wine & Spirits

Don’t let the name fool you: Wally’s Wine & Spirits is more than just, well, wines and spirits. Located inside Resorts World Las Vegas, Wally’s is a Southern California import that got its start by captivating and entertaining Californians and celebrities for decades. Now, it’s taking the magic to the next level: Las Vegas.

Known for offering only the best wines and spirits, plus elevated culinary offerings, Wally's signature dishes are where the true temptations lie. Take the steak and eggs: An unbelievable combination of Filet Mignon, blistered tomatoes and a delectable chimichurri sauce (nearly guaranteed to make you mom's favorite child.)

What's more, the BLTA Benedict and Calvisius caviar selections are quickly becoming legendary offerings — no easy feat in a city this grand.

Whether you're looking for fine dining or a fun dive spot, there's no city better than Las Vegas to celebrate Mother's Day. So go ahead, grab a seat and treat your mom or mother-figure to a brunch that's just as fabulous as she is.
