How to use your Digital Key

Hilton's Digital Key offers a convenient way for you to access your hotel room by using your smartphone and eliminating the need for a physical key card. You just request it through the Hilton Honors mobile app, provided it's available for your stay.

It's a great way to streamline check-in and access, with no more worries about misplacing your key.

The Digital Key feature opens any door you'd normally access with a key card, including:

• Elevators
• Fitness centers
• Parking garages
• Pools
• Rooms
• Side doors

Getting Started

After you check in digitally, you can choose to use a Digital Key during your stay. Once your room is ready on the day of your arrival, you'll receive a push notification on your smartphone confirming that your key has been delivered.

You can then use your Digital Key through the Hilton Honors mobile app until you check out.

How to Use Your Digital Key

To unlock a door, simply open the Hilton Honors mobile app. When you're within range of an equipped lock, press the button in the app to unlock the door.

Using a New Phone

Digital Keys only work on the device it was originally requested on.

If you purchased a new device and can no longer access your Digital Key:

1. Visit the front desk to have your current Digital Key disabled.
2. Once it's disabled, you'll be able to re-request the Digital Key on your new device through the Hilton Honors mobile app.

Note:

• Even if you receive a Digital Key, you still have the option to request a physical room key at the front desk.
• Guests requesting a Digital Key may need to stop at the front desk for identification purposes even if they've checked in digitally.
