Symphony San Jose is an orchestra comprising creative, resilient, and enthusiastic people connected by the love of music. Just one block away from the hotel, the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph was constructed in 1877 on the site of former basilicas that were damaged by earthquakes or fire. The Hammer Theatre is a modern performance venue in the heart of downtown San Jose. Home of the San Jose Sharks, this distinctively designed indoor arena hosts world-stage events and continues to be one of the most popular destinations for sports and entertainment in North America. The San Jose Sports Hall of Fame is featured along the public concourse and includes over 115 bronze plaques of Sports Hall of Fame inductees.

Destination-worthy shopping is just a ten-minute drive away from the hotel. Westfield Valley Fair is the largest mall in Northern California and home to brands ranging from Zara and Apple to Louis Vuitton and Prada. Valley Fair is handily situated across the street from Santana Row; an upscale “village within a city” offering a charming mix of brand name shops, local boutiques, restaurants and spas.

SoFA Market is an intimate, independent food hall brimming with a tasty lineup of independent eateries, a neighborhood cafe, and house bar. The market is a great example of the local way of life here and is located in the heart of the South First Arts (SoFA) District, just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.

Alive with history, San Pedro Square is home to one of Spanish California’s oldest settlements, the Peralta Adobe. Built in 1797, it is the last remaining structure from El Pueblo de San Jose de Guadalupe. Today, the market’s culinary offerings include tastes from around the world, such as tapas, Middle Eastern, multiple Asian influences, Italian, and Cuban.

Befitting a stadium for the San Francisco 49ers in the heart of Silicon Valley, Levi’s Stadium is high-tech to the max, with Wi-Fi access in every seat, so you can order food without missing a play. Celebrity chef Michael Mina overseas the high-end steak house, and the stadium also houses the 49ers museum.

Located next to the San Jose Mineta International Airport, PayPal Park is the home of Major League Soccer's San Jose Earthquakes and Bay FC of the National Women’s Soccer League. The stadium has a capacity of 18,000 fans, is one of the most technologically advanced stadiums in the world and boasts the largest outdoor bar in North America.

Home to the San Jose Barracuda, the San Jose Sharks’ AHL affiliate, and nearly 370,000 square feet of entertainment. This is the largest rink facility west of the Mississippi River and features everything from drop-in public skating to hockey, curling, figure skating, and more. There is also a pro shop and sports bar that overlooks three of the five rinks at Sharks Ice at San Jose.
