How to cancel your reservation

Cancellation policies may vary depending on rate type, dates of the reservation, and individual hotel policies. Cancellations can be made online, through the Hilton Honors mobile app, by contacting the hotel directly, or by contacting Customer Support.


On the Hilton website:
  1. Log in to your Hilton Honors account
  2. Select ‘Find Stay’ in the top right corner
  3. Locate the stay under ‘Activity’
  4. Select 'View/edit' on the reservation that you’d like to cancel or review
  5. The cancellation policy section is found under the stay dates
  6. To cancel, select 'Cancel this reservation' found in the cancellation policy section
  7. Select ‘Cancel Reservation’ on the pop-up screen
  8. You’ll be redirected to the confirmation screen
  9. A cancellation confirmation will be sent to your email
On the Hilton Honors mobile app:
  1. Log in to your Hilton Honors account
  2. Select 'Stays' from the bottom menu to view your upcoming stays
  3. Locate the stay you’d like to cancel
  4. Select the 'My stay' button
  5. Select 'Rules & Restrictions'
  6. Review your Cancellation policy under the Guarantee policy
  7. To cancel, close out of 'Rules & Restrictions' and select 'Cancel Reservation' underneath 'Rules & Restrictions'
  8. Confirm your cancellation when prompted
  9. A cancellation confirmation will be sent to your email

From your reservation confirmation email

If you’re not a Hilton Honors Member, or prefer to use your confirmation email to cancel your reservation:
  1. Locate your Hilton confirmation email
  2. Locate the 'Your room information' section
  3. Select the 'Modify your reservation' link
If you’re unable to find the email, click here to look up your reservation.

Late Cancellation Fee

Guests may cancel their reservations at no cost within the timeframe of the cancellation policy set by the hotel.
For reservations cancelled past the cancellation date, a late cancellation fee may apply, which varies by hotel.  

Refunds

If you paid a deposit in advance the refund is processed by the hotel that collected your payment.
  • Refunds can take up to 30 days to be processed.
  • Refund timing can vary depending on the hotel.
  • For the most accurate information about your refund, please contact the hotel directly.
