In 1926, The President was the first hotel to be able to produce its own ice in Kansas City, and moving forward with this “in house” concept, we will be using essential, fresh, regional and homemade ingredients in almost every craft cocktail we produce. These simple precepts will take a bit of work, planning and skill, but will be instrumental in setting us apart in the Kansas City bar scene; in the Power and Light district, and as a destination hangout – not just the convenience of a hotel bar and restaurant. Please note that the kitchen is open until 9:00 pm.

Providence New American Kitchen is a full-service contemporary American restaurant featuring locally sourced ingredients. Originally opened in 1940 the historic Drum Room restaurant is noted for its famous visitors throughout the years.  The Drum Room was a regular stop for jazz legends and many other types of entertainers.  The room is a historic site and a first class restaurant. The Drum Room offers lunch and dinner featuring hand cut chops and steaks prepared fresh daily in an upscale casual dining environment. Live entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings. The restaurant is conveniently located off the lobby.  See you soon in the historic Drum Room.
