Salt River Tavern is a gathering place for those who visit Phoenix, as well as those who live here. It's where our hotel guests can sit next to locals and strike up a conversation. The name Salt River Tavern comes from the history of Phoenix before it was The Valley of The Sun. Prior to the 1930’s, Phoenix was known as Salt River Valley and produced everything from a robust mining culture to beautiful sunsets. Pieces of this history are represented in our decor elements, such as our water wall representing the river, and the color palate highlighting the amazing colors of the sun at dusk. Our food at Salt River Tavern is approachable and familiar, featuring elevated takes on the bar food we love and, when possible, using local ingredients and flavors.
